Warranty Policy
Warranty Policy – Wyoming Tactical
Firearms LLC (W.T.F. Silencers)
At Wyoming Tactical Firearms LLC (W.T.F. Silencers), we know stuff happens, and we’ve
got your back. Our general warranty policy offers a lifetime warranty: if your suppressor gets
damaged, we’ll fix it. Whether it’s free or not depends on how it got messed up.
As of 01/01/2026 Dead Air KeyMo mounts are no longer covered under our free warranty for
any suppressor due to a high rate of failures and associated damage, prioritizing customer safety.
For questions, contact our warranty department at office@wtfsilencers.com
Free Warranty Examples
The following issues are covered under our free warranty:
End cap strikes
Baffle strikes
Mount stuck inside the suppressor (a mount we manufactured or provided.
Any issues arising from general use
Non-Free Warranty Examples
The following issues are not covered under free warranty and will incur costs for parts and
labor:
Use of Dead Air KeyMo mounts
Attempting to bore out the suppressor to increase the bore size (e.g., using a drill bit or
boring bar)
Drilling holes to reduce back pressure
Welding a mount to make it permanent
Cutting the suppressor in half and attempting to weld a new end cap
Any permanent modifications to the suppressorNote: We’ve received inquiries about these modifications. Please avoid them, as they will void
the free warranty. We’ll still repair the suppressor if needed, but you’ll be charged for parts and
labor.
Universal Mounting Threads
Using 1.375×24/HUB/universal mounting threads (except KeyMo) is not considered a
permanent modification, as the suppressor is designed for this use. Issues like end cap strikes
using mounts or muzzle devices from other companies are still covered under the free warranty.
Paint
Paint wear is not covered under warranty once the suppressor is used. Dings, chips, scratches, or
paint stripped by cleaning solutions are not covered. If a suppressor has paint imperfections out
of the box and hasn’t been used, we’ll fix it at no cost. Once it’s mounted and used, paint issues
are not covered, as suppressors are tools, and paint is not essential to function.
Stuck Mount Removal
We’ll remove stuck mounts free of charge. However, mounts may get damaged during removal,
depending on how stuck they are. We are not liable for damaged mounts and will not replace
them, though we’ll do our best to avoid damage.
Stolen Suppressors
If your suppressor is stolen (e.g., from your home or car), we’ll replace it for free, provided you
submit:
Police reports and/or contact information for the department
Proof of reporting the theft to the ATF
Note: A replacement will require a new serial number, a $200 ATF tax stamp (if applicable), and
the associated wait time.
Warranty Work Lead Time
